Drinking-Water every day is very important to our body, It keeps us active, healthy, hydrated, It delivers oxygen throughout our body, It helps maintain blood pressure, It makes minerals and nutrients accessible, and more to keep us alive. I want to show that drought can cause a serious problem in the economy and affect us in the future. Also, I created this piece because I love nature and it makes me comfortable and calm. So if we continued to cut trees only for money, we will live in a world full of regrets and realized that it's too late. To prevent drought we need to work together or create an organization to plant trees so we can live better in the future.

First, I started molding my hands using plaster and made it dry. Then, I add some tape around the bottom of my hands to show that the hands are dry. Next, I started making a faucet made out of tape which I mold it too to represent that inside the faucet is empty. After that, I brought I whiteboard for my base and paint it using yellow, red, and blue acrylic paint to mixed together to create dry land. After it dries I started attaching the hands and the faucet on my base using tape which is I think the toughest one because it keeps falling, but It sticks, fortunately, it's just too much tape. As I am working on my project a new Idea came out from nowhere and I get a piece of paper and paint it warm blue, and put it in my faucet to represent water dripping out of the faucet. Then, I painted the hands which are burnt sienna, warm blue, and a little bit of red acrylic.

Reflective Statement
The strong components and attributes of my piece is my base because it represents how drought is the land is and it tells what is my project is really about. Also, the faucet and the hands because it represents how dry the hands are and empty the faucet is. I learned from my project is no matter how hard is your life is you don't give up because working hard will pay off, how hard is your life is you just need to be confidence, patient, and always positive. After I finished my project I saw what I expected because the details are almost the same as the base, faucets, and the base. But I could have to change the hands into more skinnier to show that the hands are not healthy and still waiting for the water to come out. Also, I would change the color tone of my base more lighter because I want the land is more in daylight. Using the molding process I learned how to mold my hands using plaster and tape. Skills that I will apply in the future are plastering different types of things because I want to see the difference between reality and the mold part.
